Haile Selassie was our driver while we were in Adwa and Axum, and he is shown here on the right with one of the priests and a crown. Haile was a great guy. Not only was he a good driver, but he knew the history and the people of the area and I am sure that he was responsible for us being able to see as much as we did.
There were many, many treasures stored in the building. Here is a special cross. Crosses are made differently for each place, and this is a cross for this area, held by a priest.
