Axum is a fascinating place, with such a great history....such a great number of people who have called this place home, over many millennia. There is so much to see! I would love to stay and see more, but we have to move on. Here is one last photo, of Queen of Sheba's bath. I am quite sure that it wasn't her bath, but her name gets put on a lot of things.
However, it is of considerable importance today. At one end, people get water to use in their homes, and at another end, stock are watered. One of the projects that Denver, as Axum's sister city, is planning to help with is to make it a good source of pure water for people here.
