As you might have guessed, the church beneath the cliff impressed me greatly. We went back up to Lalibela to see another church. There were several churches together in the last stone churches we saw. This church is by itself, carved right of the solid rock.
How do you get down into it? Go to the opposite side and you see the path leading downward into the church.
