On our way again....

We left Addis Ababa, heading east across fields recently harvested, to Nazareth, where we turned off to go down to Lake Langano. We stopped at the Ziway restaurant, near Lake Ziway, for lunch and then went on down the Rift Valley to the Abiata-Shalla National Park. We saw a Soemmerring's gazelle running, but I couldn't get a picture of it. There were holes the wart hogs had made, but no wart hogs.

But the ostriches were very cooperative and we saw a number of them. The black one is a male and the brown one a femaile.

There were little Thompson's gazelles over through the trees.

There were a number of Grant's gazelles. Look at those horns! They are beautiful animals!
