There is a nice museum behind Arleta. They are beginning to get some artifacts that show what Axum is like, and to give an idea of its history. As we came out of the museum, there were lines of baskets and other items for sale. I bought one of the baskets shown in the second picture. In the picture to the right, the young woman is showing how the baskets are made. Notice at the top where the edge of the basket is continuing. It is obvious that the sun is behind me and that my shadow is covering her somewhat. That is too bad because she is quite a pretty young woman. Notice that beautiful smile.
