The Anchor Inn

We left Seattle on Wednesday, the 11th of July and drove through Portland then to the coast. Brent and Carla have a coffee shop just below Lincoln City. We went back to a restaurant and then to The Anchor Inn where we stayed for the night. What a fascinating place it was! Below are some pictures to give some idea of what it was like. In the picture, Carla is on the left and Brent on the right.
In this picture, Don and Arleta are checking email in the sitting room down the hall from our rooms.
The picture at the right shows one of the areas. There was so much interesting stuff that I wonder how they ever collected it all.

This is an area outside, on the north end. There are some rooms down along the street coming in but we had rooms in the main building.
At the right is a picture of another area.

Another area, with still more fascinating things.

The picture at the right was taken looking out the back of the building from our room. Below on the left, we are waiting to be served breakfast. The table is in the bar area. Note the Wurlitzer juke box. Ricardo thought it was especially interesting. It still works and plays nice old songs. The other picture to the right is the bar area. Again, look at the really interesting things
