Heading North

We left Santa Rosa, heading north to Oregon. We went through magnificent redwoods, along clear streams, beside the ocean - it was a very nice drive.

 There are not many regular telephones today. Don thought this one, along the Redwood Access Trail, was particularly interesting. There are truly magnificent trees!

 I look pretty small standing among these trees.

 We  stopped along the way for a rest and when we went back to the cars, we found this bird, a jay, caught in the front of Scott's car. We have no idea when it happened.





There are lots of beautiful, clear streams.
