Ethiopia
Forty years ago this fall, we went to Ethiopia to teach at the Agricultural College, Haile Selassie I University, located in Alemaya, between Harar and Dire Dawa. Two years later, in the fall of 1970, we returned. Certainly, those two years were the most fascinating of my life. Arleta, Dan and Don were with me, and I thinkl they might be willing to say the same thing. Finally, after 40 years, Arleta and I are returning to Ethiopia. It will be a tour of mainly the north part of the country, with the aim of visiting some of the UNESCO heritage sites. What will it be like? Certainly, everything will be changed, since change is the only constant of life. As we go, I hope to add a few comments and a few pictures to show what we saw there.
